Delete your account
Before you start
Cancel your subscription first. Deleting your RealOneDating account does not cancel a subscription billed by Apple or Google — that will keep renewing until you cancel it in your store account.
- iPhone/iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → RealOneDating → Cancel
- Android: Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → RealOneDating → Cancel
Option 1 — Delete in the app (fastest)
- Open RealOneDating
- Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account
- Choose a reason (optional) and confirm
Your profile disappears from other users immediately.
Option 2 — Request deletion here
If you no longer have the app installed, submit this form and we'll delete your account.
We verify that you control the account before deleting, usually by emailing a confirmation link to the address on file. This protects you from someone else deleting your account.
You can also email support@realonedating.com with the subject "Delete my account."
What gets deleted
Deleted permanently:
- Your profile, photos, bio, and preferences
- Your matches and your copy of your conversations
- Your likes, passes, and match history
- Your device identifiers and location data
- Your analytics history tied to your account
Kept, and why:

Timeline
- Immediately — your profile is hidden from all other users
- 14-day grace period — sign back in during this window to cancel the deletion and restore your account
- Within 30 days — permanent deletion from our live systems
- Within 90 days — purged from backups
After the grace period, deletion is irreversible. We can't restore your account, matches, or messages.
Just want a break?
If you're not sure, Settings → Account → Pause My Profile hides you from other users and stops new matches while keeping your account and conversations intact. You can unpause any time.
